What Is Your Organization’s Creed; Compare Yours to AUTOMATTIC’s

Mission Statement – Vision Statement – Organizational Values – Company Creed; BS or Inspiring

Based on my years of experience with organizations of varying sizes, complexity and industries – throughout several countries – most – create statements that try to establish what matters to them and how they expect employees to operate (or behave.) Most often – however – mission statements – vision statements and lists about values and beliefs are abstract – boring and in no way relate to how the organization really operates. Worst yet – the majority of these do nothing to inspire or astonish (to fill with wonder and amazement.)

AUTOMATTIC: THE REAL THING

Recently – I discovered the company; AUTOMATTIC (Thanks Kirsti Manna https://songwritergirl.com/ )

https://automattic.com/creed/

I recommend you take a look at THE AUTOMATTIC CREED. They have a 4.5 Rating at glassdoor and 94% of employees would recommend this company to a friend. Therefore – they must be living and breathing their creed. I have had no direct encounters with this company or employees (yet.) But I plan to.

SO WHAT ABOUT ME AND MY ORGANIZATION

If you are an entrepreneur, manager or employee of any kind of organization – I recommend that you compare your mission statement – vision statement or creed to THE AUTOMATTIC CREED.

Perhaps it will provoke you, inspire you or compel you to improve.
